I’m Not, but He IS

Even when I can’t see Him, He is near.

psalm-34-18.jpg

Even when I don’t feel it, He is loving me.

nothing-separate

Even when my strength is gone, He is sustaining me.

fear-not

I am not strong, or smart, or brave.

But He is Strength

  1. I am at the beach at the ladies’ retreat. Our house is across the street from the beach. And I cannot make myself cross the road and step in the sand. So many memories. So many never agains. My heart is broken…..all over again.
I FEEL so insufficient, inadequate, unprepared for this battle. So in my weakness I must release and let Him do this. I am not. But He is.

    1. Nita, You do not HAVE to go across the road and step in the sand-it’s OK to be/feel what you are and feel. He is sufficient, yes, but broken hearts take a long time to even begin to heal Your grief is fresh. Praying that the LORD will make Himself very real to you right now, that He will fill you to overflowing with a sense of His love and that you will be able to extend the grace to yourself you have so often extended to others. I love you sister.
