I have many friends who have chosen to get up when they could have stayed down, who have chosen love when they could have become heartless and who still smile even when life isn’t easy.
I love you.
Moms and Dads, this one’s for you.
For not giving up or giving in.
For refusing to become bitter and jaded and instead choosing to be love and light.

We are ok thank you. When the social distancing was introduced our daughter went over to stay at her boyfriend’s as he lives on his own about 70 miles away. As she moved out son moved in as he and his partner are going through a not very nice break up. However, he is a care worker in an adolescent boys home. I guess it puts us at risk but I would rather he’s with us than struggling.
My priorities feel very different when it comes to mental health risks.
As you have said in a previous blog…for those of us who are grieving, this crisis has keyed in at a level deeper. Even though I know my daughter is ok where she is, she is being triggered and is stuggling. She is a strong young woman though and I feel she will find her way through.
My love to you all and God’s peace be with you my friend xxx

Thank you Melania,
We lost both sons in a seven week period.
Jeff Holland was 30 and lost his life in an automobile accident. He was previously an addict but was clean and went to church with me and walked down the aisle and was restored. That night he flipped his car and they didn’t find him until the next morning. My first son, Larry Pierce, Jr. had a freak accident on a 4 wheeler helping his then girlfriend’s friend get her car out, and he flipped his 4 wheeler and flipped over the handle bars and hit his head on the concrete. It’s been a very hard 6 years without our sons but with God’s help, we are still here. Our faith keeps us going, knowing we will see them again.☝🏼️☝🏼️❤️❤️
