We Are Not Home Yet

So often.

SO. OFTEN.

I feel out of place, out of sorts, out of time on this earth. But you know what? I’m meant to be uncomfortable here.

This is not my really, truly home.

Nope. I’m like Abraham, wandering through this place looking for a city whose Architect and Builder is God.

When I remember that, it’s pure freedom-all the way down to my bones.

  1. So good. So true.

You are one my favorite people that I read/follow on the internet. 💕

You encourage me in the way you know and look to Jesus, and yet you so authentically and transparently acknowledge the pain, without apology.

Our losses are different, but I so identify with your heart.

    Thank you.

Thank you for being willing to share and putting yourself out there like you do.

He is working through you in more ways than you may ever know, until you arrive to your “real home.”

    All my grateful love,

    Bec

  2. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this reminder. I needed it……….desperately. I was just telling my hubby, yesterday, about how confused, tired and out-of-place I always feel. This helps me refocus. Thank you. God bless you, Melanie.
